Join Africa's LPG Network
Connect, contribute and champion clean cooking with LPG — together with people and organizations across Africa.
What Is the ALPGI Alliance?
LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is the gas in the cylinder you use to cook your meals at home. It is a cleaner, faster, and safer alternative to wood and charcoal.
Whether you cook every day, support someone who does, or simply care about the health and future of your community, this concerns you. Every time a family cooks over wood or charcoal, the smoke affects the health of mothers and children, the time and income of women, and the well-being of the whole household.
The ALPGI Alliance is a Pan-African network of LPG and non-LPG individuals and organizations committed to advancing better livelihoods, clean cooking access and stronger LPG markets across Africa.
What Members Do
Members act as ALPGI ambassadors, using their networks to promote clean cooking, open doors, share expertise and identify opportunities. Some also make voluntary donations that help communities access cleaner cooking.
